Setting Up Your Account

Client Account: Book a Service

Getting started as a client is quick. Download the Salonhome app then click Sign Up, and choose "Book a service" as your account type. Enter your name, email address, and create a password. Once your account is created, you can immediately browse services, explore professionals near you, and book your first appointment. Add a payment method in your Profile > Payments to complete the checkout experience.

Professional Account: Set Up Your Business

Setting up your professional account takes a few important steps. Complete each one before you start accepting bookings:

1. Sign up and select "Set up a business" as your account type. Complete your profile with your name, specialty, bio, location, and a professional photo.
2. Connect your Stripe payout account. Go to Settings > Follow the Stripe Connect setup. This is required to receive payments from bookings. Stripe handles all payouts securely.
3. List at least one service or workspace. Go to Settings > Services/Workspace and including pricing, duration, and a description.
4. Activate your account. Once your Stripe account is connected and your first service is listed, switch your account to Active in your Settings. Your profile will then be visible to clients on the platform.
